This 5 day program builds on the skills introduced in the Introduction to Kayak Instructor, reviewing and adding to your practical group management, lesson plan, and assessment skills. The expanded content of the level 1 Instructor Course includes training in developing weather and navigation lessons and managing groups in more complex waters including light winds, waves, and slow currents.The course develops and assesses the skills to organize and teach a 2-day on water sea kayak beginner course.
